Dr. Sharon Deans

Dr. Sharon Deans is an ICF and PCI certified leadership coach who has coached informally for the last 20 years. Having personally invested in and evolved significantly from executive coaching, Sharon recognizes and believes in the value of coaching and development as a path to career satisfaction, legacy leadership, and overall personal fulfillment.

She is commonly called upon to share her journey in the healthcare space; offer guidance regarding the investment in and utilization of an additional degree; assess pay equity and facilitate the tactical onboarding and transition from bedside clinician to physician executive roles. Sharon is a transformational and influential change leader, specializing in infrastructure development, process improvement, and change management with an emphasis in turnaround and accelerated growth settings.

With over 40 years in healthcare—starting as a nurse, thriving as a clinician for 25 years, and now excelling as a corporate leader and physician executive—I'm passionate about making a difference!

Began her managed care career in 2013
Within 2 years she became Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Deans spent 12 years in private practice
For over 15 years, she has taught medical students and trained resident physicians in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She has held academic appointments at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Northwell (formerly North Shore Long Island Jewish School of Medicine) as a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
